Why Install an Ground Source Heat Pump?

  • Energy Efficiency

Ground Source Heat Pumps are our highest efficiency heating system. GSHPs can produce 5 units of heat for every 1 unit of electricity used.

  • Environmental Benefits

Ground Source Heat Pump require no fossil fuels, producing all their heat from the Earth’s stable ground temperature.

  • Reduced Energy Costs

Ground source heat pumps will provide 100% of your heating and hot water requirements throughout the year, even in extreme weather conditions. Their high efficiency mean significant savings on the cost of energy.

How does it work?

Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) provide heat using the Earth's stable underground temperature.

By leveraging the relatively stable underground temperatures, GSHPs can provide efficient heating, reducing reliance on traditional heating methods and lowering energy costs.

These systems have fewer moving parts and are protected from the elements, leading to lower maintenance costs and longer lifespans.

Why choose us?

  • We use subcontractors with state-of-the-art trenching machinery, which greatly reduces time and mess when laying out ground arrays.

What Our Clients Say

  • Kevin and his team did a thorough job measuring the heat loss in each room and working out the size of ground source heat pump and increased size radiators we needed, and estimating the costs and savings we should achieve.

The cost was as estimated , and the system worked well from the start, a few minor niggles were sorted out very quickly by his team, and heat pump performance during winter (and other seasons) was very satisfactory, made more so by the increased price of energy.

We are happy to recommend KA Stripp Ltd.

  • Kevin and his team came in and installed our ground source heating installation.

From start to finish they were lovely to deal with, efficient, and professional. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

  • We made an excellent decision when we chose Kevin to install our ground source heating system.

He also carries out its annual service. All work was carried out to a very high standard. Kevin is very reliable, works to a high standard and is helpful and friendly.
